And so here we have it. Easter has rolled around once again. Surely we aren’t over Christmas yet, are we!!
So just where does our time go. I’m a big one for the holidays. Our childhood goes far to fast, so I believe in making it as special & magical as possible. So in doing this, usually I’d have all my Easter decorations out in full swing a good 3 weeks before Easter hits. But what has happened this year! YIKES!!! I just didn’t seem to have the time. Must admit though, kiddilicious has certainly been eating up a lot of my time lately. But I’m sure we aren’t going to argue about that. Anyhow the most important thing was/is the children & low n be hold they never questioned once where the Easter decorations were, PHEW!!!
Well the kiddies managed to only eat around about two eggs for breakfast so I thought that was pretty good going. And once we were all up & ready we headed off outside for a small Easter Egg Hunt. Lots of fun & giggles. Though, I will be putting that basket of goodies away for later on during the holidays.
So after a couple of hours of the kids bouncing off the walls with the neighbours kids we decided it was time to get them out of the house to burn off a bit of that chocolate. And look how lucky we are to have this most beautiful Rainforest just 3-5 minutes drive from our house. It’s glorious & even though I have visited there many times, I’m still just as taken with its beauty as the first time I walked through there. The children just love it there & burn through the forest as if it were their own backyard. The rainforest also has a small waterfall & the children took great delight in swimming it the waterhole this afternoon, (if though the water was freezing). Brrrrr!!!!
So ok, all of this was all meant to exhaust the little kiddie-winks for the rest of the afternoon, but we are talking about my children here, so unfortunately no such luck. They were only re-energized…Grrrrr!!!! lol
Well I hope you enjoyed the photos but most importantly you have enjoyed some special time with your own families this Easter.
Keep safe

Josh Joel Bella
So how did the day go? Well it all actually started at midnight when Bella woke & found her little basket of goodies. She was so excited that she got up & started searching the house for the Easter Bunny. Of course I was still up so she wanted to know if I’d seen where he went. Thank goodness the story about me being in the shower at the time worked. Well she wouldn’t go back off to sleep of course so I had to head off to bed myself & take her with me to get some piece & quiet.
I think it was Joel who was the next one up at 6am & then of course once Joel is awake everyone is awake with his excitement. All went fairly well & I even managed a lay in with Bella singing Aussie Easter Oi! Oi! Oi! all morning…lol Thanks Bella, that was beautiful…
